MOSCOW, Nov 18 (PRIME) -- The E.U. has frozen Russian assets worth 68 billion euros with the majority of them located in Belgium, newswire Politico reported on Friday quoting a document of the European Commission.

Belgium accounts for 50 billion euros with the second biggest amount of 5.5 billion euros arrested in Luxembourg.

But the E.U. doesn’t know how much Russia’s national reserves were frozen in the union, with the approximate figure amounting to 33.8 billion euros, Politico reported.
